Flourish Networking Policies and Procedures

Attendance. 75% attendance is required. We can’t give or receive leads when we aren’t present! If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute in your place and that will count as having attended.

Communication is key! If you know you will be absent for more than one week in a row, talk to your group facilitator. Life happens and we want to be flexible. We can arrange for a leave of absence or make other arrangements if we know what’s happening.

Participation. 3 participation points per month are required. This includes one on ones, leads, power partner introductions, and guests. You may earn points with members of another Flourish group, but not at the expense of your own group. At least half of your points need to be with members of your group.

Dues. $30/month. Any changes to dues will happen at least 30 days in advance. Flourish will send an invoice to set up automated payments. If you would like another payment option, please ask your group facilitator.

Failure to meet Attendance, participation, or dues requirements will be handled with a “3 strikes, you’re out” policy. The first and second times you fail to meet a group requirement, your facilitator will reach out to brainstorm solutions to help you be successful. The third time, you will be asked to resign from the group.

Visiting other Flourish Networking groups. You may visit another group once per quarter if your position in that group has not been filled. Check with your group facilitator to find out which groups have openings in your category.

Joining multiple groups: You may be a member of up to 2 Flourish Networking groups. You will be responsible for meeting the requirements of each group separately. You may also be a member of both Flourish and another networking company IF you can participate fully in both. The goal is to be able to give to both groups, not just take. Please carefully consider whether you can participate fully before joining multiple groups.

Voting. Once you have submitted your membership application, the current membership will vote via email. The group facilitator will let you know when your application has been approved.

Professionalism. All members will adhere to a few basic business ethics principles:

  • We focus on building long-term business relationships with fellow members. While we do not require 100% loyalty to every group member, a good-faith effort will be made to partner with other members, especially those who are natural “power partners.”
  • We have a positive and supportive attitude toward other members and the group facilitator.
  • We provide above-standard customer service to other Flourish members and their referrals.
