So, what is content marketing, exactly? It sounds like a big, fancy, Industry Term™, but I promise it’s actually very simple. At its core, content marketing is taking one piece of content and making it work with multiple different platforms. For example, what you’re reading now starts as a blog post, gets formatted into a newsletter, then transformed into Pinterest posts that link to it, and finally gets boiled down into Facebook and Instagram posts that link to it. That’s five different platforms for the same information! All that’s left to do now is create graphics related to the content.
You can use content marketing exclusively for your social media, for longer forms of marketing, or even for physical marketing like brochures and fliers. There are so many more ways to expand your content, but this is the primary strategy we discuss with our clients.
