About Flourish Marketing

Jenni Jackson

Jenni Jackson is the founder of Flourish Marketing, where she helps small business owners and independent professionals make marketing feel more clear, practical, and connected to real relationships.

Jenni has spent her entire career in marketing, sales, and business development. After earning a Public Relations degree from the University of Oregon School of Journalism in 1993, she built a career around helping people communicate clearly, build trust, and connect with the right audiences. She started her first business when her first child was born, back when working from home felt like the best way to build a career and be present for her family. Over time, that work evolved through marketing, sales, networking, and small business support.

In January 2019, Jenni founded Flourish Marketing to serve local small businesses. What began with social media support quickly grew to include email marketing, blog writing, marketing strategy, and networking groups.

When the pandemic closures hit, Jenni saw neighborhood businesses struggling while larger companies had more resources to adapt. Through the local Chamber of Commerce, she counseled small business owners on marketing strategies to help them recover and move forward. That experience clarified what she already knew: local small businesses are her people.

Today, Jenni’s work brings together marketing, networking, education, and community-building. She leads Flourish Marketing, builds local networking groups, and teaches in the Business and Entrepreneurship department at Portland Community College. She is also involved in local community leadership as Vice President of the Historic Downtown Oak Grove Association and helps organize the Oak Grove Festival.

Outside of work, Jenni is a singer who performs each holiday season with the Portland Singing Christmas Tree, a reader with a dangerously large book collection, and someone likely to quote The Princess Bride, a Broadway musical, or a Disney movie in conversation. She works with her office buddy Max, a Lab/German Shepherd mix.
